What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy healing technique from Japan that relaxes and reduces stress. In a spa setting, the Reiki practitioner uses hands with light touch / hovering over the body. Energy is channeled through the practitioner to the client. Reiki means spiritual energy.
According to the International Center for Reiki Training, "a treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing."
Is Reiki a religion?
No, it is pure love and doesn't conflict with any religion.The International Center for Reiki Training states that "while Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not."
Do I undress, like in a massage session?
No, you wear what you are comfortable wearing.
Does it involve touching?
Often I will lay my hands on you but it doesn't have to involve touching if you don't want to be touched. Energy can still flow from me to you when I hold my hands near you.
You can even do Reiki from online and from a distance.
Will Reiki work on extreme illnesses or broken bones?
Reiki will help relax you, therefore allowing your body to heal itself. Everyone is different but most people experience a faster recovery.
Is the Spiritual Officiant work good for all religions?
